Since I've been blogging I've always wanted to use those cute little Linky Tools. I love the thumbnails at the bottom of the post and the idea of collecting the links all in one place, but I haven't really had a reason to use them until now. Thinking that yesterday's Super Bowl Onion Dip & CSN Giveaway Post (There is still time for you to enter!) would be the perfect place to collect links to feature everyone's favorite Super Bowl treats I spent nearly 20 minutes simply signing up on the extraordinarily slow Linky site only to find out that now there is a fee. I'm not totally against fees, and admittedly it's a small fee, but I'm not really sure how often I will use the tools, so until I have more of a consistent use I think I'll pass.
In place of the tools I thought I'd make up my own "links" from the many wonderful responses that have been left for us. Below we will have a little recap of everyone's favorite Super Bowl foods!
But first, I have been sorely remiss in acknowledging a few awards that have been left for me and I would like to take this opportunity to humbly thank Dawn at Hamm's Kitchen, Elisabeth at Food and Thrift Finds, Mateja at Indulging Life and Shanon at the Curvy Carrot for thinking of me when passing on awards.
These four blogs have indeed lived up to the awards that they have had bestowed upon them. Each brings different aspects of the blog world to the table and is infinitely Lovely, Versatile, Stylish and a Most Deserving Sister. Thank you, my friends, for including me as well! Tomorrow I will bestow a few awards myself.
Now on to the Award Winning Super Bowl Treats... I think I'll call this our:
Virtual Super Bowl Table!
Pizza & Beer |
Cheesecake Brownies |
Felice, from All That's Left are the Crumbs is bringing her Cheesecake Brownies. They were a hit at her daughter's volleyball game back in September and I'm certain they will be a winner on our table!!
Curry Chicken Pizza |
White Chicken Chili |
Buffalo Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese Dressing |
And I'm putting Elisabeth, from Food & Thrift Finds, in charge of the wings with her ideal Buffalo Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese Dressing.
Elliot's Eats is bringing the Onion Dip that was a winner on her Christmas Buffet!
Buffalo Chicken Dip |
Thank you, everyone, for your comments and entries to our giveaway, and we truly enjoy each and every one of your comments on all of our other posts as well. Liv and I frequently read them together on my phone as we are waiting at school for her brother to arrive and smile with pleasure at your thoughts and ideas. In addition, my dad reads each and every one of your comments as well and frequently calls me saying "Hey... did you see so and so's blog today?" along with his thoughts about some of your recent posts. Thanks for making our day and...
